The Myall Creek massacre is still; to this day, regarded as one of the some heinous inhumane criminal acts to take place on this land. The massacre was the single act of inhumanity that united the colonists and the native people under British protection whilst highlighting the need for a unified justice system. Thirty black custody, women and children; maliciously massacred by a group of white-hot prisoners with no excitation at all.
